Here is the Old Lynchburg Road Sidewalk Safety and
Drainage Project update for 7/9/14.
The contractor has completed adjustments of all drainage structures. The
contractor is scheduling S L Williamson to provide a mill and overlay of the
asphalt surface between the 3 drainage structures, nearest to Middleton Lane.
This is expected to begin next week.
The removal of the double yellow line in front of 301
Middleton Lane and restriping in the other areas of the project will follow the
minor asphalt overlay.
The city has received a
list of damaged plantings at 301 Middleton and is in the process of
getting quotes for their replacements.
Traffic controls will continue next week and traffic will
be limited to one lane during the day time work hours. Brief delays can be
expected.
