The Annual Fry's Spring Neighborhood Association's Oktoberfest takes place from 3:00 - 5:00 pm this Sunday, October 21st at the Fry's Spring Beach Club.

Make Your Voice Heard

There are multiple opportunities to voice your opinion on the future of our community.  The City is in the process of revising its comprehensive plan and a broader vision is being sought by combining the planning across multiple jurisdictions called One Community.

Have You Ever Found an Injured Bird (or Squirrel)?

Brenda Lambert, who lives in the neighborhood, is in the process of being licensed to do wildlife rehab and should be contacted if you find an injured wild animal. You can reach her at 296-9240.

Old Lynchburg Road Project Moves Forward

Update from City Engineer Tony Edwards:

The OLR Project is moving from taking the final steps of right of way acquisition to the bidding process. The project was advertised October 1 and the bids will be received on Oct 29th.  Once contracts are reviewed, secured and awarded for construction the intent is to start by December 17th. The schedule and work phasing  will be confirmed once the general contractor has been selected. We expect that this will be a 9 ½ to 12 month construction phase.
