As part of the Fry’s Spring neighborhood, neighbors are invited to stop by for the event, to learn about the Solarize Charlottesville effort, and to speak with the Wilsons about their experience with rooftop solar PV. Local news and media will likely be present.

Old Lynchburg Road Safety, Sidewalks and Drainage Update
From Tony Edwards:
Old Lynchburg Road Sidewalk Safety and Drainage Project update for 6/25/14.
The contractor has completed the trail and sidewalk connection at the new pedestrian cross walk with flashing warning lights, step repair at #118 OLR, and asphalt patching.
The contractor has completed adjustments at all drainage structures, except those near the Middleton intersection. Temporary asphalt patching has been installed in this area until the new concrete drop inlet*( DI-1 top) can be manufactured and tested. This is expected to take two weeks.
The removal double yellow line in front of 301 Middleton Lane is being scheduled for next week.
The city still needs a list of damaged plantings at 301 Middleton in order to provide replacements.
Traffic controls will be in place and traffic will limited to one lane during the day time work hours. Brief delays can be expected.
Thank you all for your cooperation.
