Police are ticketing cars parked the wrong direction on neighborhood streets.
The FSNA shall bring community members together to discuss neighborhood issues; the FSNA shall protect and improve the quality of life in the Fry's Spring neighborhood; the FSNA shall advocate for the neighborhood at public hearings and in community forums.

Old Lynchburg Road Safety, Sidewalks and Drainage Update
From City of Charlottesville Engineer Tony Edwards:
We wish to provide additional information on the scheduled work along Old Lynchburg Road for the next couple of weeks. Tomorrow work crews will be focused on installing concrete wing walls at the storm water outfall point at Middleton Lane, west. Wednesday water service line work will be provided at 221,219, 217 OLR. Thursday- water service line work at 240 242 OLR . Friday - water service line work at 238, 236. The clearing sub contractor will also start tree removal below the Fry's Spring Beach Club pool this week. It is intended and will be cross checked , that water service will be restored before the end of each work day.

City Council to Consider Lowering Speed Limit on Section of JPA Extended
At the Monday, April 15th City Council meeting, councilors will hear the first reading of a staff report that does NOT recommend lowering the current limit of 35 mph on the .33 mile stretch of road from Cleveland Avenue to Fontaine Avenue.

Old Lynchburg Road Safety, Sidewalks and Drainage Update
Old Lynchburg Road Project is proceeding on schedule with approximately 23% of the work complete. Here is the proposed work schedule this week, weather permitting.
April 8 ,2013 thru April 13,2013
Monday- surveyors providing layout for retaining wall work. Ensuring clear access to FSBC. Coordinating remobilization of clearing contractor.
Tuesday – sections of water services being replaced.
Wednesday- sections of water services being replaced. Also in the middle of the week our milling/ paving operations will be onsite to mill and patch all utility crossing / curb line gaps.
Thursday- the storm pipe work will continue. The clearing company and wall contractor may also be on site at various times this week.
Friday- the storm pipe work will continue.
Traffic will be controlled by flagmen and usually limited to one lane. There will be short periods of time that both lanes will be closed and traffic will be redirected to the alternate routes.
We thank you all for sharing this anticipated work schedule with the rest of the neighborhood.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA -Jefferson Park Avenue northbound will be closed just north of Robertson Avenue between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on April 3 and 4 for emergency sewer line repair.
Robertson Avenue will remain open; official detour will be Cleveland Avenue to Cherry Avenue.
Southbound Jefferson Park Avenue will be unaffected.
